Love is...

me and my friend broached on this subject the other day when we talked about our own partners and past relationships.. as we bitch about things and complained about our partners, I could actually see a tinge of love for the person in our conversations... people always say my partner need to be like this and that and this and that.. got car, be of this height, be of this age, cannot be younger than me if you are a girl or cannot be older than me if you are a guy... there's always a thousand and one thing that we require out of our potential partners but yet a lot of times, our partners do not fit the bill at all.. take a look at me for a good example... said i wanted somebody who can financial support me.. in the end, found somebody who needed cash from me instead and survived that way for such a long while... silly as it sounds but a lot of times we do such silly things...

me and my friend also talked about going together with a guy that's younger in age... I said i didn't mind but she said she couldn't accept... but yet when some younger guy comes along, i tried to squirm out of it by stating age as a problem but it's just that i didn't want to break his heart by telling him i didn't like him...

after being hurt by a man so many times, so badly, I still believe in LOVE- Live Other's Vision Enthusiastically. To love one person, you should be able to live their vision, their dream.. support them and let them pursue their vision... like what a friend said, it's the chemistry that counts.. not anything else... I believe so too... so even if the guy is younger or shorter but if we do have chemistry and we are relaxed with each other, able to support each other's dream, I believe we can make it at the end of the day...

From the day I am single, I have a deep faith in the Lord's plans for me. He has planned for a partner for me and it is not time for him to appear before me yet. We do not need to hurry or wait impatiently cos the time will come by itself as decided by the Lord. Love never fails as we all believe in....
