it's been a while since i blogged... been busy with nuahing, my hongkong trip and just plain life without work...
hongkong trip has been good.. with lots of shopping done... lots of new experience.. and more convinced that i should go and stay in hongkong.... of cos, this time round, i got mayling to do all directional work plus all the planning of stuff.. she's done a good job! Two thumbs up!
now the gang is planning some stuff amongst ourselves... wedding gift for our dear yy... we've had a small gathering to discuss about it... and now we are exploring the options.. waiting for replies... then also we're planning one short trip overseas which i might miss if i do not have enough leave... went with XX to find out more about the packages and the prices.... nothing much, just collected pamplets i guess....
then me and XX had dinner at swensens.. which XX said was extravagant... then made some comments about me not having savings at all which i was quite offended about... i dunno... i'm spending within my means, earning my own keep... i'm not like XX who has money to invest in shares and stuff but i am also not the one who tells the world that i am broke all the time... besides, i spend only when i am out with friends...bah!
besides that, we have also touched on the topic of finding a lifetime partner.. i guess everyone is entitled to their own views about things... XX feels that one should cast the net and then from the catch, pick one that is suitable for themselves... and XX feels that one must start planning for the rest of their lives now... like looking for a partner... but when i told him that if your partner leaves you ie, divorce or death, you will be alone again.. even having kids doesn;t mean your future is guranteed.. and again, i'm being said as very extreme.. mind you, the key word is VERY.... honestly, i dun see what is the issue here about being sufficient on your own... be it whether you have a partner or not... changes happen all the time.. so you need to be prepared for the changes and not for the things you plan in your life.

Very true Kate! You have to be prepared....Obviously, I wasn't, and look where I ended up, yet again. It sucks. Anyways, email me sometime, k? I'd love to hear about your HongKong trip!
