the hotel was so sweet.. they knew that it was my birthday and sent a complimentary cake for us to celebrate.. of cos, I shared 90% of the cake with the staff there... if u wanna know, it's Melia KL hotel. Great place to stay in, located conveniently next to major shopping malls and train stations.. *sounds like an ad huh?*


ML insisted that we try this brand of baos... they have quite a good variety of flavours...

Happy Belated Birthday to myself

This year' s birthday was a quiet event.... no major celebrations... prob because I'm still recovering.. so in order to let myself not feel so pathetic about myself, i decided to go on a holiday.. maybe then i can meet somebody new...hehehe...

ML and I had planned to go Bangkok but due to the political situation there, we changed our minds and decided to go to KL.. as I had gone there in aug... so not much of excitement.. but the thought of going there to just do nothing but shopping and pampering myself is quite a happy thing...

Before my trip, I met up with my buddies from Symantec to celebrate Win and my birthday.. Win has the exact same birthdate as me but he's like 10 yrs older than me... we had a fun time that night... =)

I met up with YB, Ben, YY and Julian as well for dinner the following night.. well, in a way, this birthday meet up was set up only because I complained how my gang did not celebrate for me for the past 3 yrs... well, i gotta be thankful that I had a nice chocolate cake even though I do not really relish chocolate cake.. as what YY said, this cake is gonna last me the next 2 yrs...

After that, I got onto the tiny Tigerairways plane and flew to KL...had a truly happy time shopping over there... bought lots of stuff, did silly things and felt so pampered over there... pictures to follow in the next post.. haven't upload yet... heheh...

Then yesterday, I got my birthday present from Cubix... it's a eeyore tee!!! a tad too big but that is something that can be solved easily.. but the Eeyore on the tee is so adorable!! Shall take a pic and show it to u guys later on... heheh

Miscellaneous...

I know I've been missing for a long long time.... some of my friends have given up reading my blog cos i dun blog as often as ever.... or maybe my life is getting boring.. hehehe...

anyway, the last time i stopped at a couple of days before my birthday... so how did i spend my birthday... well, i spent it at work... totally crappy... and the day was gloomy... so much for a happy birthday.. and the best part was, i had to go to school.... school was boring thanks to the lecturer... but the guys surprised me with a small birthday cake and a present from Carol... the really down birthday girl nearly burst into tears cos when even my closest friends forgot, the new friends remembered when i didn't say much about it... *pics to come later, cos selest hasn't uploaded them*

So what presents did i get? Cubix said I never blog about it... well, no pictures.. but one nice keychain and a earring set from carol, one super huggable eeyore soft toy from Disneyland sent by Cubix, a huge ang bao from SYMC guys, a personalized towel from Henry, a nice cat necklace from shirlyn, angbow from aunties...

well, that particular sat, I went out with the classmates to this underground pub for drinks.. played pool and sang KTV... truly enjoyed ourselves...

after my birthday, it's time to work... went to work with Chris for one event and another with shirlyn...

anyway, temp job finishing soon so time to look for another job... bah... cycle starts all over again and i'm not loving it... bah!
