during lunch, one of my colleague told me that the guy whom I always go home with at night from office is resigning and effective date is today.. sheesh... he's willing to pay the penalty and just give one day notice and leave.. told him that he really has got courage!!! had a small chat with gavin and he told me he hasn't found a job but he still has some freelance work to survive on, his new home is not furnished and he wants to take this time to get it all done... but then good thing is taking off this job, he has more time to devote to his Phd.. really happy for him.. at least he found something he truly enjoys... got his contact and will ask him out for drinks together with some other guys... all the best gavin!!
another shocking news is that the AP level resource manager is leaving for good... she's been on the job almost the same time as me.. doing the same things as me but probably more people to handle cos she's got the asia pacific region... while i just handle the south east asia... three months and she's down... we pretty much expected her to resign cos she cannot handle a lot of things and we need to coach her on a lot of things.. imagine a newbie like me teaching her what are the things to do.... sheesh... we were all struggling but i never expected her to give in so quickly... at least be glad that i'm still struggling... still able to struggle with the whole lots of change and everything.. still surviving... but with her gone, things might turn easier and things will not be as frustrating as last time... at least that's what i hope for...
