post babies weekend

the babies have finally gone to a lady who is willing to foster them till they can take solid food.. after that, i'll have to take them back...

they are two adorable babies.. one of them is a tuxedo and the other one is a tabby... the tux is a very vocal baby.. crying out LOUD!! while the tabby has got the nicest meow that i've ever heard before... *but then, towards sat, it changed into the loudest meow too!* it was tough trying to feed them milk as they refused food cos it's not the normal nipple they have... the two fellas whom i affectionately call 'baby' are sleepy heads too... after drinking milk, they fell asleep after i switched off the lights and closed the door to their room.. all the way for 6 hours... they love to sleep on their hot water bottle.. they simply look so adorable when they sleep on top of it.. like two little mice... they would often curl up together to sleep too... so sweet.... joslin came by to check out the two babies and she tried to feed them milk while i was bathing but proved to be futile... babies simply refused to eat... joslin gave up eventually and i felt them before going out with joslin for dinner and drinks.. over the three days, many people sent me sms asking me if the babies were ok... thanks so much! those sms were really heartwarming.. people like dawn, chris, carrie... their concern for the babies really touched me, just like the two babies touched my heart... a mere three days and i could actually miss them so much after sending them to the foster... i hope they will be fine there... and quickly come back to me and let me arrange for a foster for them... no doubt, i would love to keep them very much... but i know, i'll probably get screamed at by the parents and the cats.....

so other than caring for the babies, what else have i done over the weekend? while the babies were asleep, i sneaked out of the house to meet up with joslin, who volunteered to help me with the merchandise.. we went to toyogo warehouse to buy more containers and to replace the old ones and the cardboard boxes... got the trolley too... we spent almost three whole hours trying to clear the whole place... never knew that the shed has got soooo much stuff... moving it this weekend would definitely be a problem... joslin had a great time with the cats over there... we left at about 8... head for home to feed the babies and out we went again... went for dinner and drinks at paulaners... she suggested it... it has been a long while since she drank and she didn't have to ride so might as well... had a nice time chatting and drinking... with the bitter aftertaste.. *sucks* the band was good too... we had fun with the wedges and the seafood platter.... went home at about 11 plus... tired tired....
