rainy night...

finally got my laptop back... *ahhhh*

anyway, up late tonight with my laptop, listening to songs on my laptop as well checking out some of my friends blog which i have not checked for a really long time.... managed to catch up with some here and there...

it's pouring out there.. heavy rain with thunder and lightning... call me a psycho or something... i actually like such weather....such nights to me are not just good for hiding under the blankie but they are good for reading, good for writing my blog, good for self reflection... good for a good cup of coffee... somehow, this might be one of the reason why i love rainy season... despite the wetness... it simply indicates that we are reaching yr end soon and one yr is passing soon... time to see what i have actually done for this whole yr....

went out for coffee with YB just now and we were talking about men.. the various men we have seen.... realise the kind i cannot stand... those feminine ones... or rather what we so called new age sensitive guys... i'm conservative in this aspect.. a man has got a man's way of doing things and how they react to things... maybe because my brothers are like that.. if they like it, they like it... they dun ponder and think like a woman about matters... they know what they want in life, lock that goal in your mind and move towards it... same goes for me... i know what i want in life so despite i am taking a longer time to get there, i know every step i make, no matter how small, i'm getting there... maybe i need such a guy in my life..

oh, me and yb talked about shares and opening of cdp accounts as well... he's planning to do some investments with his cpf... and maybe even money... and i happen to have just opened an account with uob so we were talking about it... made plans to go down one day to help him get the stuff done... and also to check out my course details.. taking me so long to check it out... not able to take leave next week so i guess i gotta wait till the week after...

got home not long ago, was trying to connect the linksys router to my laptop when gary called... this ungrateful fella apparently forgot my bd... hahaha.. so much for being a buddy huh? which is quite saddening... some of my closer friends have forgotten clean about my bd... damn.... and u call yourself my buddy... sigh.... and that includes some of my girlfriends as well... dun let me see u guys huh... dare to forget my bd.... anyway, gary was busy with his work over here as well as his parents so he hadn't had the time to contact me and to be honest, i actually dun even realise he never contacted me until he told me... i guess i'm busy as well.. hehehe... he was telling me he might wanna get his parents over to US with him so he can look after them... sounds good to me i told him.. it's time he did some things for them... since he is gonna be based over there in washington for a while... might as well see if they wanna settle there for good... afterall, they have better medical care there... anyway, he said he'll let me know how things go and update me.. *oh yah, when u find some time to do that*

he was asking me what's happening to my life these days...told him about the clash with boss... told him about moving on and all... well, as usual, he said he would support me... he dun really mind if i were to quit now and he could pay my bills till i get a proper job... nope.. not gonna take the offer... gonna work things out on my own.... *thanks for the offer anyway*

told him about my new cube mate.... well, to be honest, she has brought me a lot of laughter since the time she came... of course, when she first came, it took me a while to get used to her "noise" but all is well now and to me, she seems to be like my best bud in the office other than clarice... like i always say, some ppl you can only be colleagues while others can be your friends after work... anyway, her hubby came to pick her up the other day from our shopping trip... sent me home as well although i'm not on the way... found her hubby really nice... tries to strike a conversation with me, really dote on my cube mate and their daughter... really lucky of her to get such a hubby... of course, she's a nice lady to begin with...

wonder when will i have such luck to find such a nice hubby.... *wonders*
