I want kueh lapis!

Went out with Jie yesterday for dinner... supposed to have been with YB too but poor guy got stuck in a meeting till very very late....

We went to Crystal Jade Express for dinner.. I've never tried so it's an interesting exposure... saw their menu.. lots of interesting food but only the two of us so cannot order a lot... i ordered the sweet and sour pork dinner set while Jie ordered the tofu set... (do you call it the tofu set, Jie?)

eh, the sweet and sour pork is ok... just that i tasted more flour than meat... soup's good.. we had watercress soup... soup came with chinese herbs and pork.. yum yum... tasted so much like my mom's... ok, i'm more of a chinese soup person... give me double boiled soup any day and i'm happy camper..=)

after that, the both of us are so full... I needed to look for the 40cm by 40cm cushion for home... so we walked to tangs... found nothing much.. but Jie managed to see some expensive tees.. cost about S$119(expensive lor!!!).. after that Jie said to go to Taka to look for the cushion cos they have a bigger range there... before we got there, we saw the kueh lapis which Charles recommended... we tried.. and OMG! I was so bought over by the richness of the kueh lapis... (Thomas, if you're reading this, you should go and try it.. it's damn good lor, it's Rasa Sayang btw) Just go there and try.. free trying.. hehehe...

Found the cushion I wanted but it's like S$15 bucks for one... expensive ah!!! Gotta find a cheaper alternative...

Walked all the way from Taka to Paragon and then to Heeren.. in search of ice cream.. oh yeah, me and my cravings... managed to find the solution to ice cream craving at NYDC... poor Jie who had to walk with me all the way to find ice cream when he is so full and bloated... so sorry!!

Anyway, went home after the ice cream craving, feeling so happy and satisfied... yum yum... =) *I'm a happy little kid, la la la la!!*
