Friends-love em or hate em..

I was looking back at my past and was trying to catagorise my friends.. *i'm weird i know =)* i realise, most of MY friends fall into these few catagories..

1.Buddies

These bunch of friends can chat anything under the sun.. they will tell you straight in the face when u are in denial, when u need help or just somebody to talk cock with... luckily me, i have friends who fall into such catagory.. not many, but just nice enough to let me pass my days in happiness

2. Friends

This catagory is huge... so let me sub catagorise...

a. Period friends..

this bunch of friends are those whom you will meet during your lifetime for a short period... eg, you meet A at this occasion and then you realise you guys have a lot in common.. you guys start chatting and meeting up often... then you start to realise the flaws and then you need a break from the person... eventually, the distance drives the two of you apart.. you never hear of the friend again... some of my friends like that, some are at the stage of moving away...

b. Usage friends

this bunch of friends will stick to you when they need you, eg when they are broken hearted or need you for some contacts or help.. after that, they will move onto somebody else... most cases happen to me when that friend finds somebody else to cling onto and drops me... and yes, it is happening now to me...

c. Net friends

these are ppl whom I've never seen but we talk till the cows come home.. *mooooo* and everything under the sun... ppl like pam, nitin, mayank, elen.. it's nice to know them and the comfort of chatting with them is really something that cannot be bought with money...

d. Ordinary friends

these are friends who are really just "friends friends".. we do have topics to chat about, we go shopping, we go movies... but we dun have heart to heart talks, we dun point out each other's mistakes.. they aren't the ones you would think about when you need a shoulder to cry one... this percentage of friends are the biggest in my network..

3. Aquaintances

These are friends whom we meet in pubs, clubs, office and friends' friends... we dunno them really well and sometimes we cannot recall their names, just recognise their names... this happens to ppl whom i meet during the times when i club or when we are drinking in pubs... too many to remember... too insignificant at times...
