I went shopping with Lynn on Fri night... not exactly shopping but i needed to go out and didn't mind going to sengkang cos i've never been there... so we went to pick up little jonas from his childcare centre and we went for macdonalds... ooo... i finally realise how difficult it is to feed a two yr old kid... he's so hyper and he's glued to the TV!!! while Lynn is a 24 inch TV.. little Jonas is probably a 18 inch one... hehehe.. a description which Lynn gave me...
We had a nice time shopping... managed to get my necklace and got my top.... and oh, we got raisins to keep Jonas quiet... so while we shopped, Jonas was munching into his box of raisins... that's one way to entertain a kid i guess...
P.S I lost my hello kitty brolly in one of the changing rooms.. sheesh... guess it's not meant to be mine...
Went for GWC event organised by the AVA... for educating the public about pet responsibility... it's been a while since i went for any events... it felt good... good to be talking to customers, volunteers and people from other animal welfare group... there hasn't been much stock left and XXX would be doing the shirts to replenish... managed to catch up with Joanette about her school and all... been a while since I spoke to her... managed to talk to dear about some of the stuff that's happening also... at least after talking to him, i know that he has given me strength to carry on whatever i believe in... i know that I can always depend on the small group of them for support and for motivation... managed to talk to president too... told him my concerns and some issues i have... hopefully the matter can be resolved and i can move forward... we all grow from these incidents and hopefully i will too...
event ended with a high amount of sales... which is good... had dinner with dear.. my god, it was so filling... almost couldn't walk... but it felt good... :o) got back to office today and it turns out that ben was there at the event.. he bypassed SPCA and went into best denki to get something... he didn't actually know i was there until i passed him the calendar just now..... we always seem to bump into each other at weird places......
