Bus rides...

I took a long bus ride to Bras Basah the other day... it's been a while since i ever took time to be with myself and just myself alone... the bus journey took about half an hour to 45 mins.. took the time to see what has changed on this bus route that i used to be so familiar with... i love bus rides...they allow me to just take my time and think through matters and just relax... the ride was a smooth one... and noticed that some shops along the way has changed... some buildings have got new coats of paint, some trees were removed while some were blooming with flowers...

after the nice bus ride.. i went to the specs shop.. got my contacts done... bought half a yr of supply for it... realised i wanted my contacts that much... missed them.... and most ppl commented that i look better in contacts... but i like the feeling of no specs and of course the various colours of lenses... that's my next crazy thing... heheh.. maybe i should get a pair of purple ones... heheh...

after visiting the shop.. took some time to look around the various book stores over there.. most of them are second hand stores.. and they are really messy!! of course, through all these mess, you can find all the good books at cheap rates... put me there anytime and i will be so ever happy... and oh, the stores selling various art and craft materials... they can be used in thousand and one ways in various crafts.. I can never get out of such places....especially when i am getting some arts and crafts done..

leaving bras basah, i took another short bus ride to chatsworth international school... they are having a blood donation drive over there...and i decided that it's about time for me to go donate blood.... so i went....and guess what.. this is the first time i got a small blue black from blood donation... the doc who did the injection of the huge needle for me was inexperienced and she poked the needle in and pulled it out.. *ouch* she was saying something like pls bear with me for that moment.. my dear.... pain ah!!! but other than that, it went pretty ok...next donation would be in june... hopefully somewhere near again then i can go for donation....
