"one month never blog liao, my neck stretching long long... "-fishing cat

to all my friends who have dropped by my blog at some point in time or another, i'm so sorry that I have not been updating my blog for such a long time...

so what have I been doing for the past one month? let me update bit by bit...

work

it has been the darkest work period of my entire working life so far... everyday i dread going to work, dread talking to the bangalore team.. a lot of work has been piled up due to the training for the bangalore team.. sometimes i feel that even as i am handling only 3 countries, i am handling much more... training, day to day operations, follow up with their training materials and homework.. and then eventually internal audit... i feel a whole lot of weight on me... on top of that, the bangalore team isn't exactly as competent as i think they are.. thus causing us a whole more issues.. i screamed at one of the girls who forgot to upload my files for the partner... she cried over the phone and caused me to be reprimanded by my big boss.. saying that i am bullying them.. what can i say? after that incident, the pressure was on me.. i had to apologise to her.. take the humble pie and then keep tabs on my own actions... but all i can say is, i am not at fault..

i guess after that, i am more convinced that i should go before the contract ends in apr... i hated this job in the first instance.. kept myself going because of the good relationships with partners and with nitin and all... they were the only reason why i enjoy myself each day at work, why i would put effort to make things easier.. but no more from now on....

Friends

I've made new friends since the last time i updated my blog... lillian, pinkvision, laura, evangeline and many many others... friends enrich my life, of course, there are friends who aren't good for me as well. Friends who dump friends the moment they are in love.. friends who find other new friends and dump friends, claiming that their old friends are no longer fun to be with.. all of these i experienced.. of course, some of them come back and try to make it up.. but i'm so sorry.. once bitten, twice shy.. Period.

Other stuff

Edward didn't come for xmas.. which caused my xmas to be a sad one.. ended up spending xmas with my neighbour and her cats.. which is not a bad thing...

Xmas presents this yr came up to be a huge bunch.. but of all things, I miss edward's xmas present.. some presents came with price tags.. *hehe* , some were not quite me... but i love them all...

our department had their xmas party on the 16th of dec... being one of the committee members proved to be the most frustrating thing.. ppl does not seem to be moving.. they were just wishing for a day off and not join in any fun.. even if they truly enjoyed the games that we had prepared for them, they simply refused to admit.. *what's wrong with these ppl??* but I had a good time laughing, bonding with the rest of the department, knew a few new colleagues and got to know others better...most importantly I got my reindeer hairband!*shall post pic soon* woohoo!

went out clarice for a short shopping trip.. took some pics.. shall post them another time... heheh

gonna go for another shopping trip to find the bd present for lillian!
