A lost opportunity..

I went for a recruitment session with Bloomberg and boy was I impressed with the office and the staff... huge pantry that looks like a 7-11 and wonderful people who works there... it has always been a dream for me to work there... combining the two loves of my working life.. data and financial... sad to say, as usual, kate blew it... but like what Jo said, they never said anything about applying again... so I'll try again... make sure I'm more prepared the next time if they call me up...

Luping is getting married next month.. on the 5th... *happy happy* I have known her for a short period of 9 months since I started work in HP and through lots of rubbishy talk we have in the office, we grew close to each other.. at least for me lah... cos she's the first one i talk to when i have problems and she's the one who knows all my problems at work and on a personal level... glad that she's decided to settle down and she's happy to have found somebody whom she wanna spend the rest of her life with... and oh, her hubby to be is an ex queenswayan... have yet to meet him though...

Met up with Jo the other day and we talked over dinner about CWS, about the Lord, about our past and how the Lord saved us from one thing and another... it's a fruitful day and it gave me lots of inspiration about CWS, about my religion and all... *good good*

So how's things in the dreaded office? been working over the weekends these days and it has become a norm for me and my family... dunno where to find kate? call mobile or office... sure can find her one... no complaints about it... afterall, i chose to go back... it's a job that needs to be done.. then it needs to be done... but lots more things have come piling up and it needs immediate clearing... things for krishnan, jimmy, siti... krishnan's stuff were not under my scope.. but XXX insists that I do it... oh well, let her be... till the day I can't make it... she has to take over... i see it as taking it over from her for a while.. she needs to take it back someday still... other than that, things are pretty ok... i came back today to work but the system is still slow.. so might as well use it to do my blog and send some emails... no harm...

I got a parcel the other night... a friend from TCS sent me a xmas parcel... such a nice surprise... :o) TCS is a cats forum which we go to and we're in the middle of a secret santa game.. everybody has a secret santa who will send a parcel to each other for xmas... somehow it just adds to the xmas season...the fun and sharing and giving... i simply love xmas... what plans do you have for xmas? ever since i have been single, xmas has been the most boring times of the yr.. everybody has their own plans and all.. but i dun seem to have any... everywhere you go, you see couples... boring... no xmas parties and no invites... hopefully that will change this yr... :o)
